Who Would Win In A Fight? Solid Snake vs. Raiden

Who Would Win In A Fight? Solid Snake vs. Raiden

The upcoming arrival of “Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance” got me thinking about the two main characters all over again. There are moments when I wonder what these two would be like if they’re fighting each other. They don’t even have to be enemies. They could be two friends battling it out in the heat of passion.

The brave and aggressive Solid Snake vs. the boy wonder turned cyborg swordsman Raiden? What do you think?

Let’s go over the details with these characters.

Solid Snake is exactly what his name suggests he is. He is snake. He’s a person who knows what he wants and gets it. Snake has been through many situations since the first game came out. By the time Guns of the Patriots came out, I’m surprised he’s still alive. He counts on instincts and knows exactly what to hit when it comes to his weapons. It’s hard to knock this player down.

Do you remember that fist fight scene between him and Liquid? That fight shows you how strong Snake is inside and out.

Then there’s Raiden. This new character we were unexpectedly introduced to in “Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.” Originally, we didn’t know what to think of this character. We assumed it was a glitch in the game. But as the game progressed, we got closer to Raiden and began to love him as a person inside and out.

Of course, we would originally think that Snake could beat Raiden’s butt. But things have changed.

The obvious change is that Raiden is now a cyborg. Ranging from swift body movements to sword usages, this character is a true bad-ass right now. When I saw the previews of Revengeance, I was for one am so happy that Raiden was a fictional character. I would be scared to be near Raiden if he’s carrying a sword.

Still, you be the judge. I’m sure all you die hard Metal Gear Solid fans have a perspective on this. Who would you think would win a fight?
