So by now most of us have heard that Jessica Nigri was asked to leave PAX East. This was apparently due to her costume.
“What was wrong with her costume? Did it shoot fire?” I hear you cry, well no, but it didn’t really leave much to the imagination. The guide lines on the PAX East website say basically you can’t use anything that can be potentially dangerous or interpreted as something dangerous. Apparently Jessica could harm the minds of the fragile children.
After being asked to change, she did, she is after all being paid to wear this (Not that she hasn’t worn things like this without pay before.)
There is a mixed opinion about if they went too far, people are saying “It’s not fair she was hired!” Well my response to that is that she would have everything paid for her, costume, food, travel, hotel and the tickets would also be complimentary. So I can’t really see why she should be annoyed, perhaps the poor guys that actually hired her can be annoyed though.
