VIDEO GAME ICON SERIES
Round 5
Hello voters sorry for the delay in getting round five up on the site, but none the less here it is. I thought this week I would put two hack and slash characters against each other. One is an old favorite and the other is a new comer to the video game universe. Once again the winners of the first six rounds will make it into the semi-finals so keep those votes coming. Also if you have a favorite video game character you think is an icon let me know in the comments.
DANTE
This demon hunter with a mouth was an instant cult hit with gamers all over the world. The Devil May Cry series was originally to be a Resident Evil Sequel, but I am sure glad it ended up being its own product. The idea of being half human and half demon gives him an almost immortal ability and super speed and strength. If there was an end of the world scenario I don’t know too many other characters I would want to be in control of.
BAYONETTA
This witch blew onto the scene coming from Sega with an over the top style. The game had Devil May Cry type game play but showed it had its own personality. The addictive gameplay and insane moves Bayonetta has the ability to pull off impressed gamers. The hack and slash community was very impressed and welcomed Bayonetta with open arms. I would love to see a friendly battle between Dante and Bayonetta it would sure be a show.
