I’m as skeptical as the next person when it comes to movie related games. In fact, I pretty much hate them except for a few, such as Spider-Man 2. Maybe it’s the Transformers fan boy in me, or maybe it’s my appreciation for what High Moon Studios did with Transformers: War for Cybertron last year that makes me have high hopes for this movie. I know three things about this game.
1. It’s being made by High Moon Studios, which had a ton of success with War for Cybertron.
2. It’s a prequel to the movie, not a direct port of the movie.
3. It’s brighter than the dull War for Cybertron colors.
If they use the engine from War for Cybertron, I think this game could have a ton of potential. If they are building a new one, I’m a little nervous about that but I’ll reserve my opinion until I see game play.
