Curse you, games industry, for not naming consoles in a manner that would allow me to appease my addiction to alliteration.
Anyway, Resident Evil 6 kind of sucked, if the critics are to be believed. However, it wasn’t the only Resident Evil game to come out in 2012. Resident Evil: Revelations came out for the 3DS, and it was much more popular among gamers and reviewers alike. Well, developer Capcom must have noticed, because they have recently announced their intention of remaking the game for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC with upgraded graphics, a new playable character (everyone’s favorite, Hunk), and another difficulty option.

It’ll be released May 21 in the US and May 24 in Europe. It is a good chance to play the game if you’re a fan of Resident Evil, but not the 3DS, although it is a full priced console game at $50, so if you just wanted to replay it with better graphics, it’s probably not worth the money.
Capcom included some screenshots with the announcement, which we’ve included below. They look nice, but they might mean more to a fan of the series. Just more tentacles and guns to me.
