Link And Zelda Should Play Together In A Game One Day

Link And Zelda Should Play Together In A Game One Day

October 26, 2012 |  by  |  Editorials

I am one who follows this game series every now and then. I’m not a die-hard Legend of Zelda fan. But that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy the series every time I get my hand on one of the games. It has been quite an interesting experience when it comes to going on adventures with Link. As he goes through the obstacles in his way to rescue princess Zelda, I am always mesmerized by how he fights through each of them.

These are the kind of stories I like on the side. The prince saving the princess or a wanderer saving royalty in need are storylines that will always capture our moments. I even had thoughts on what it would be like to live during medieval times.

Back to the game, a part of me always wonder what it would be like if Link and Zelda were both playable characters? In other words, would it be interesting if these two iconic figures did a game together?

Just think, Zelda has already proven to be an amazing warrior. I remember playing her in Super Smash Bros. Her and that alter ego Sheik is nothing to be messed with. She is a princess/warrior who can defend herself. That’s what attracts me to Zelda.

As for Link, we all know what’s capable of. We’ve gone through one console after the next with him. But not once have we’ve seen these do in a playable matter together. I’m talking a video game where you can switch the characters and play them individually. One minute, you can switch from Link and play Zelda. Then at the same time, you can switch from Zelda and play as Link.

I have no idea what adventure they should go on. However, the idea of these two working together will forever be in my hand until that game becomes reality. Link and Zelda are a wonderful team. We should be able to experience that together.
