After the first game leaving a lot to be desired I must admit Prototype 2 has caught my eye…
I want this game to be good and I want to “Paint the town red” in two ways. But there are a number of things that are questioning my opinion. So we’re back in New York, good old re-hashed game environment!
We have a new protagonist who has similar power animations to Alex Mercer and the graphics don’t look that polished either. I think it defiantly has some serious fan support behind it coming out of Twitter and Facebook so hopefully though word of mouth they’ll get more units out there.
As far as trying to sell this game to people, the only way is this… You can take the form of an old woman and run up walls!
Back to a serious note I think if it’s not over hyped, stays true to fans and draws in some news ones then it will do well when it hits shops on the 24th of April. I see this being a 10-12 hour game, defiantly having some awesome over the top moments on the road to completion but after that I can’t see much replay value… Unless it has some strong levelling elements and side missions which will grab you for a couple extra hours.
As for running up walls as an old woman, only one thing springs to mind
