A long, long time ago we set up a charity page. We ran into a bit of a snag, in that we couldn’t find a venue, anywhere at all. But finally, we have a date (Kind of), location and some other awesome stuff.
We’ve managed to get some fancy bands that you can buy on the day, all of the profit goes to Special Effect, a great charity that we have mentioned on several occasions. If you are unfamiliar, check out our recent coverage detailing who they are, and what they do.
We are also setting up some great special gaming cocktails for the event, which will be held in Manchester’s Fab Cafe. We would like to extend thanks to the guys at Eurogamer, and Loading who have helped us a lot along the way.
We appreciate anyone spreading the word and any donations. We will also be raffling off shirts, consoles and games over the 3 days. Our chosen game is the Serious Sam Series.
