You know the deal, you kill thousands of hundreds of alien bugs, robots and other er, big things. And all you get is this lousy t-shirt. Well not any more!

Now this is only a prototype I think, or I hope. But take a look, the first image of the official Earth Defence Force Towel. The official word is “An incoming call from Headquarters. New goods were found to be sold at the Tokyo Game Show. Price is the towels decorated with our weapons (including tax) 1,500 yen!” (That’s about £12.)

Here are some pictures of their other shirts too, selling for 4,000 yen (About £30!)

The news was dropped from the Earth Defence Force Portable official Facebook page.
