Call of Duty: Black Ops Escalation Map Pack Review

Hey there, Your probably wondering all about the new map packs for Call of Duty Black Ops. On May 3rd, 2011 The Escalation map pack was released. The four maps for MP are: Zoo, Stockpile, Convoy, and Hotel. The zombie map that came with the Escalation map pack is called Call of the Dead. In this Review I will tell you about all of the maps and what to expect on them.

Zoo: Zoo is a very large map that takes place of course at a zoo. In this map there are many secret paths and secret areas. Enemies come from any angle on this map. There are animal displays that you can hide in such as a fish tank and more. There is a combination of buildings as well as wilderness.

Convoy: Convoy is a map that is large in size and also has a highway in the middle, and surrounding buildings off to the side of the highway. This map is a sniper’s paradise due to the highway’s road signs from above. It makes sniping a breeze. There is a lot of room just to run around and hide in.

Hotel: Hotel is a large map that is basically urban based. There are at least 3 elevators on this map which can be your worst nightmare at times. People tend to surprise people with claymores on this map.

Stockpile: This is a huge map as well. It has a ton of hiding spaces. To sum it up it’s basically a town that contains doors that open and close at a touch of a button. There is also great potential when it comes to Search & Destroy.

Call Of The Dead: This is the new zombie map. It includes four new characters. I’m not gonna spoil who they are though. We will let the pictures explain it all. The map includes a boss called ” The Director which follows you around the map and is hard to kill. The map also includes zip lines which allows you to go across the map really fast.
