Cabela’s Big game hunter is a third person adventure shooter in which you hunt many different animals with a range of tactics, weapons and items.
The general plot is that you’re some guy who likes to kill things in Canada. The whole game has every reason to be awful, like one of those over the top Japanese films, ya ‘know the ones that are awesome for no reason?
The game has a loose story, amateur graphics and awful voice acting. But there’s something oddly satisfying about shooting a bear in the face.
Or a water buffalo, or elk, and so on and forth. There is a range of small mini games, from duck hunting to rock climbing, some you must pass to progress through the story, others just for fun.
So, I’m going to say that this game is definitely not for everyone, but I really like it so I’ll give it a 6/10
