Bitches, Juggernauts, and a Farmer

Bitches, Juggernauts, and a Farmer

What happens when sex, relationships and internet humour mix? Well it hurts, where you ask? Well my dear readers not the nads, the brain. But it hurts in the best possible way, it’s a bit like watching your kids burn ants with a flame thrower, half of you wonder what the world has come to, the other half just thinks that it’s bloody brilliant.
So there are probably a few questions you’ll be asking now, but I can bet that it isn’t half as many as I was asking while playing the game. The questions you’ll be asking yourself (Or should be), range from “How the hell can they publish that!?” To “What the hell is going on!?” I’m not joking when I say there is an enemy who throws orbital fast food at you, I can hear you cry the question “But who Custard, who can be so awesome as to have the modernised power of Sephiroth?” Well I’ll tell you kids, (That means a teeny tiny spoiler for your fragile minds) McFunny of course, a blend of the Joker and Ronald McDonald. But he’s not the only guy you fight with insane attacks. The army of arse-kickers from around the globe mobilise to destroy you!

Next! Who are you? Well you’re a simple ginseng farmer. So, what the hell is ginseng? I know that people in the UK may have difficulty finding it, so I hunted some down, it’s in a drink, but you can see it. Here’s a picture.

We follow the unwinding tale of a Mr. Mark Leung who is far too awesome to buy some land and farm on it; instead he depends on looking in treasure chests to get what he wants. This leads to two girls being kidnapped, but our ever withstanding and unphased Mark doesn’t seem to care. He also doesn’t care when his girlfriend leaves him so, what happens to these two young ladies? What happens to Mark? What happens to the “Bitch”? Well there’s only one way to find out! (And that is download it, not harass me.) But of course you delightful people want to know how the game plays, after all a game isn’t a game unless it has some playability.

This game has a JRPG feel to it, simple turn based battles, but they’re perfected with a wide range of attacks, items, and weapons. Some attacks are just downright confusing, but brilliant all the same.
How does it look? Well you picky whiney gits it looks just fine.
But yeah, seriously. It looks great, most of the cut scenes are performed by actual people, not poorly rendered CGI, or any of that fancy lark. The actors are bloody brilliant and put everyone to shame from Bette Davis to Heath Ledger. I can honestly say I doubt I could name an actor who could pull off the roles quite like this bunch. Now, note that I say “Most” some cut scenes are simply too awesome for real people to be in, and so the funky characters take their usual pixel-form. But by gum it works! The general art of it is pretty nice, and the character designs are all interesting, odd and great!
This is one of those rare games that’s fun to play, funny to play, and makes you want to tell cruel jokes about dead people. This game isn’t for the soft-hearted or the squeamish, but it is awesome, on every level. And if you even have half a brain you will download it now.

I hadn’t heard of this game until you mentioned it. It seems well done, and…interesting. I’ll have to look further into this.
